# buildurl: Build URL with UTM Parameters

> buildurl (Build URL with UTM Parameters) is a 1001fx API function in the group Data & JSON: POST https://api.1001fx.com/data/buildurl, 1 credit per call. It works as a ready-made module in Make or as a plain HTTP call.

Adds UTM parameters (source, medium, campaign, term, content) and any other query parameters to a URL, correctly encoded. Existing parameters are kept or replaced.

## Parameters

- `url` (string, required) – URL: Base URL; existing parameters are kept.
- `utmSource` (string, optional) – UTM source: utm_source
- `utmMedium` (string, optional) – UTM medium: utm_medium
- `utmCampaign` (string, optional) – UTM campaign: utm_campaign
- `utmTerm` (string, optional) – UTM term: utm_term
- `utmContent` (string, optional) – UTM content: utm_content
- `params` (object, optional) – More parameters: Further query parameters as object; empty values remove a parameter.
