# pdf2image: PDF to Image – Convert PDF Pages to PNG or JPEG

> pdf2image (PDF to Image – Convert PDF Pages to PNG or JPEG) is a 1001fx API function in the group Files & PDF: POST https://api.1001fx.com/files/pdf2image, 3 credits per item. It works as a ready-made module in Make or as a plain HTTP call.

Converts PDF pages into PNG or JPEG images. One page returns the image, several pages a ZIP with one image per page (page-0001.png …). Charged per page, at most 50 pages per call.

## Parameters

- `file` (file, optional) – File: The PDF. Either file or fileUrl.
- `fileUrl` (string, optional) – File URL: Public URL of the PDF. Either file or fileUrl.
- `pages` (string, optional) – Pages: Pages to convert, e.g. 1-3,7 (first page = 1). Empty: all pages (at most 50).
- `format` (enum, optional, one of `png`, `jpeg`, default `png`) – Image format: png (default) or jpeg.
- `dpi` (number, optional, default `150`, min 36, max 300) – Resolution (DPI): 36 to 300, default 150.
